Welcome to our website. We are a friendly club, normally meeting twice a month at the Wooldale Centre in Holmfirth but under the present circumstances all Club activities have been suspended until further notice. We do however have an active Facebook page at Huddersfield Woodturners, please do not hesitate to visit. The second Thursday in each month features a professional demonstrator, and on the fourth Thursday we have a Hands On night, where our more experienced turners offer help and support to newer members.
Our membership ranges in age from 16 to 80, with a growing number of female members, and our meeting room has facilities for disabled access, so please come along and give us a try – first meeting is £5 for a visitor, with this discounted from your annual fee if you join us.
If you think you fancy having a go, but don’t know what to expect, why not come along and make your own pen? You can get a feel for the club, and take home something to be proud of – all for £15.
